PRN Host Biography |
Elaine Smitha |
For more than a decade, Elaine Smitha has integrated her mission with that of her cutting edge television show, "Evolving Ideas", to reach millions with innovative concepts for personal growth and development. In 2005 she expanded her mission to radio. Her accumulated wisdom, skills, business acumen and lifetime experiences developed through more than 30 years of teaching, training, and professional speaking to inspire and motivate business professionals and laypersons to look beyond conventional modalities for answers to life's pressing questions; especially those having to do with wellness, and living a life extraordinaire. Smitha is a multi-talented woman with visionary perspective whose frontier is gaining knowledge of how the universe works to better understand the nature of who we are in our relationship to it. Ever since she healed herself in 1993 after neurotoxic poisoning from oil-based paint, her primary mission has been to introduce and advance awareness, knowledge and understanding of the body's innate intelligence to heal itself, given the right environment.
She founded Webworks in 1987, sponsoring workshops and events on progressive ideas, and continues to play on the edge of discovery as the Executive Producer and Host of Internet Radio & Television.
Her innovation to raise awareness began in West Des Moines, IA where she initiated the first Fine Arts Week in the city's history when teaching at Valley High School. Smitha went on to teach at Corning School of Allied Arts in Seattle, Edmonds and Shoreline Colleges, Seattle Pacific University, and as an education supervisor at St. Martin's University.
Elaine authored the first self-healing handbook based on the new biology: "If You Make The Rules, How Come You're Not Boss? Minding Your Body's Business."
